Assignment

Create a title sequence for the short film The Red Balloon

Initial Concept

Le Ballon Rouge (1956), by Albert Lamorisse, is a near-wordless fable about a Parisian boy who befriends a red balloon with a will of its own. It shadows him through gray streets, inspires wonder, and provokes bullies. In a magical finale, a flock of balloons lifts the boy above Paris—a tender allegory of innocence, friendship, and freedom.
